ORAL HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAMME “WORLD ORAL HEALTH DAY”, THE NSS UNIT OF CIDS – 19TH MARCH 2025

As part of “World Oral Health Day”, the NSS unit of Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences organized a street play at the Government Hospital on March 19, 2025, at 11:00 am. The main motive was to create Oral Health Awareness. Dr. Radhika and Dr. Jitesh from the NSS unit, along with Dr. Sameer and staff from the Government Hospital, participated in the event. Around 80 people attended the program. A rally was also conducted from Virajpet Government Hospital to Clock Tower to create awareness about oral health. The program started at 11:00 am and concluded at 2:00 pm.

On March 19th 2025, in celebration of “World Oral Health Day”, the NSS unit of Coorg Institute of Dental Sciences organized the speaking ssession which focused on "Career options in Dentistry: India and abroad”. The esteemed resource person, Dr. Simranjit Singh, shared his insights. The event was attended by undergraduate Students, Interns and PG’s and provided a thought-provoking discussion. Around 100 students attended the talk. The program commenced at 9:00 AM and concluded at 11:00am, leaving the audience inspired and informed.
