RESTOLASE A TWO-DAY SYMPOSIUM ON ESTHETIC AND LASER DENTISTRY –21 ST AND 22 ND OCTOBER 2019

The department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics conducted“Restolase” a two-day symposium on Esthetic and Laser dentistry on the 21 stand 22 nd of October. The guest speakers for the program were Dr.Chandrashekhar Yavagal from Hubli and Dr. Shibu Sreedhar from Cochin.

The symposium was a huge success with 120 delegates from both Karnatakaand Kerala. The attendees included academicians, private practitioners, housesurgeons and postgraduates.

The first lecture by Dr. Chandrashekhar Yavagal on "ContemporaryApplications of Lasers in dentistry" covered the basics of laser physics and thenumerous clinical applicationThis was followed by a lecture by Dr. Shibu Sreedhar on “Tips, Tricks,Techniques” in Composite resin restorations.

This was followed by clinical demonstrations.

On the second day clinical management and application of various treatmentmodalities were discussed, followed by “Hands On Course”, both on Lasers andEsthetic dentistry.
